1. Is Cannabis safe to use?

Cannabis is generally considered less harmful than alcohol and tobacco, but it is not risk-free. Its safety depends on the method of use, frequency, potency, and individual health factors. Short-term effects can include relaxation, euphoria, altered perception, and increased appetite. However, risks include impaired memory, coordination issues, anxiety, or paranoia (especially with high THC). Long-term heavy use may affect mental health, lung health (if smoked), and can lead to dependency in about 9–10% of users. Responsible, moderate use in adults is typically safe, but it is not recommended for pregnant individuals, adolescents, or people with certain mental health conditions.

3. Can Cannabis be used as medicine?

Yes. Medical Cannabis is prescribed in many parts of the world for conditions such as chronic pain, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, nausea from chemotherapy, appetite loss in HIV/AIDS, and certain anxiety disorders. The U.S. FDA has approved Epidiolex (CBD-based) for rare epilepsies, and synthetic THC (dronabinol, nabilone) for nausea and appetite stimulation. 2. What is the difference between THC and CBD?
