Ladies of 420 Events: Celebrating Cannabis Culture in the Caribbean
At Ladies of 420, our events are more than gatherings—they are experiences curated to celebrate, educate, and empower. We believe Cannabis is not just a plant, but a powerful connector of people, culture, and creativity. Our events are designed to give individuals a safe space to come together, learn, and embrace Cannabis without stigma or judgment, while highlighting the rich Caribbean identity that surrounds it.
The Cannabis Mingle: Our Flagship Experience
The Cannabis Mingle has quickly become our most popular and beloved event. It is a vibrant space where like-minded individuals can socialize freely, without the fear of being criticized or penalized for their love of the plant. The first Cannabis Mingle was held just 20 days after Trinidad and Tobago officially decriminalized Cannabis in December 2019, making it a historic celebration of freedom, progress, and community.
Since then, the Cannabis Mingle has continued to grow, creating an inclusive atmosphere where advocates, enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and newcomers can connect over their shared passion. It is more than a networking event—it is a cultural gathering where music, food, and open conversation meet. The Cannabis Mingle represents the heart of our mission: to change the narrative around Cannabis and show that it is not something to hide, but something to celebrate.

The 420 Bashment: Honoring Reggae and Dancehall
Another signature event we proudly curated is The 420 Bashment—an ode to Reggae and Dancehall music and their undeniable influence on the Caribbean Cannabis narrative. These genres have long served as vehicles for expression, resistance, and celebration, carrying messages that reflect the social and spiritual connections between Cannabis and Caribbean life.
Through The 420 Bashment, we highlight the ways music has shaped perceptions of Cannabis, giving artists and audiences a platform to embrace the culture while enjoying the rhythms that have defined generations. The event is equal parts celebration and reflection, tying together the creativity of the arts with the advocacy for Cannabis acceptance.
Cannabis Yoga with Asha Wadada
Wellness is at the core of our Cannabis journey, and our Cannabis Yoga sessions, led by co-founder Asha Wadada, provide a space where the plant and mindful practice meet. These classes focus on how Cannabis can enhance yoga by helping individuals release anxiety, deepen focus on their breath, and allow the body to move with ease.
Participants leave these sessions not only physically refreshed but mentally grounded, experiencing the plant’s ability to reduce stress and improve mindfulness. It is a gentle reminder that Cannabis is as much about healing as it is about celebration.
Competitions and Workshops: Growing Knowledge and Community
In addition to social and wellness events, Ladies of 420 has hosted Cannabis Growing Competitions curated by Marcus Ramkisson, giving cultivators a chance to showcase their skills and creativity. Alongside this, we organize workshops that promote education on the many beneficial uses of Cannabis, from wellness and culture to business and entrepreneurship. These events reflect our commitment to building a knowledgeable, empowered Cannabis community across the Caribbean.

Looking Ahead
As the Cannabis industry continues to grow, so will our events. Each gathering is carefully curated to add value to the Caribbean Cannabis culture—whether through education, creativity, wellness, or celebration. At Ladies of 420, we are proud to provide spaces where Cannabis is embraced openly and authentically, while building a movement that honors the plant and the people who love it.
